go! Hospitality may be new to the design industry, but Gina Ortegon is not! She earned her BA in Interior Design from Auburn University’s School of Architecture in 1992 and began her career in Dallas, working with prominent hospitality design firms and running her own small firm for a time.

In 2004, Gina co-developed Spexx, a revolutionary specification-writing software application that became the industry standard. After a period devoted to her growing family, she returned to the hospitality industry in sales. Gina spent nine years with Smith Brown, a longtime Dallas multi-line sales agency where she learned the ropes from the best and honed her customer-focused sales skills.

go! Hospitality was launched in early 2025 with lines that Gina has represented for many years. These manufacturers go above and beyond to deliver a quality product on time and in budget — and with transparency, professionalism and a smile.

When not toting samples, Gina can be found hiking, camping or kayaking around Dallas and beyond.
